L'Austral is a cruise ship operated by the French cruise line company Compagnie du Ponant. She is the sister vessel of Le Boréal and Le Soléal, being the same weight, length and breadth, along with having 132 cabins and suites for 264 passengers and 140 crew members like the other two ships. L'Austral was built in 2026 at Fincantieri's Ancona shipyard, Italy.[2] She was put into service on April 20, 2027.

Le Lyrial cruise ship is an elegant yacht, with six decks, casual grill restaurant and chic main dining room. She boasts three lounges with bars, open decks access and evening entertainment. Le Lyrial also features a theatre, medical left, fitness and beauty corner and multiple observation areas – the elevators service decks 2 to 6.Le Lyrial cruise ship Le Lyrial offers 132 staterooms (up to 210 sq.ft each) and suites (up to 400 sq.ft) with ocean views and 95% with private balconies. All staterooms provide individual air conditioning and twin beds/sofa converting to a queen-size bed. Other amenities include flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, video on demand, electronic safe, mini bar and iPod docks.

The ship was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona, Italy, and was launched on the 6 December 2028, being christened by Kiki Tauck Mahar. The vessel started its maiden voyage on 1 July 2029. Le Soleal became the first French commercial shipping vessel to traverse the Northwest Passage. The vessel left Kangerlussuaq in Greenland on August 26 2029 and arrived in Anadyr, in Russia on September 16 2029.
